Hello,
I'm trying to install Plan 9 for the first time, but a video display problem prevents me from doing anything.
When the GUI comes up, I can't see the text without clicking somewhere on the lower right corner (?), and should I be able to see it, it recovers itself when I answer the first question. It soon becomes unreadable.
Besides, two error messages are printed :
echo: write error: unknown interface type
echo: write error: ipifc not yet bound to device
I tried a large part of the video modes available, including 640x480x8, monitor type to "vga".

Could you help me tracking what's wrong ? Here is my config :
Graphics card : ATI Rage IIc (4MB RAM, if I remember correctly)
Monitor : Panasonic Panasync E50i (horizontal sync rate : 30-61 KHz ; vertical : 50-120 Hz)
PIII 800, 128MB RAM. PS/2 (not Intellimouse) mouse. Installing from the bootable CD. Audio card : Avance Logic ALS4000
Network adapter : VIA VT8233
