not only is it not hard, it's been done. :-)
i have a port of faad and faac. i'll see about
getting it up somewhere in the next couple
days, if people are interested.

i've been working on porting several codecs and tools
to manipulate my music archive. i have the most recent
versions of flac, libvorbis, libogg, and the vorbis
tools of interest to me. again, if people are
interested, i can clean it up and put it up somewhere.
