Hi folks,
I'm currently thinking about an 9P-based interface for browser
plugins (eg. in mozilla).
Does anyone else work on that topic ?

yeah, already knew it, but it doesn't actually help me here :(
I need an filesystem specification for an interface between
browsers and plugins.
BTW: I neither intend to use javascript not nsChannel stuff.

i've not seen an fs interface for FF/IE/or Webkit. NPAPI is the
only option i know of, but that's only useful for a self-contained
environment (like Inferno).

NPAPI is exactly what I want to get rid of ;-P
The major problem of these plugins is that they run within the
browser process, and that's extremly bad for stability.
