Hello!
I just tried installing Plan 9 for the first time. Well, actually 2nd.
First install try I killed my
monitor. (it was very flakey anyway) So I pulled another beater out of
the shed and went at it again!
Unit installing to: 486dx2 50, 32m ram, 330m Maxtor H/D, 1m Cirrus Logic
VLB vidio card, 3com
Etherlink III, NEC 2xCD. All pretty dated but what the heck. A test bed
is a test bed.
The install seemed to be going well until it came time to unpack the
distro from the CD. The errors
were as follows. cpu0: spurious interupt 39, last 0 or last 14. I let it
run and when it finally
finished putting the files on it quit. Do I have a read problem with the
CD or some other bad
hardware JuJu???
