An APE-port of the 'glimpse text indexing and search suite is on sources:
/n/sources/contrib/pac/sys/src/ape/cmd/txt/glimpse-4.18.6.tbz

Included is 'agrep', grep with spelling errors. Unfortunately, all the stuff is not aware of UTF-8 (as you might expect from being APE). Sorry.
