For whatever reason I had to do a VAIO re-install and the
install process was smart enough to use my old kfs and
not to touch stuff that was 'locally modified' -- cool!
Even the 'special' VAIO re-install CD's just left my
plan 9 partition alone -- so Sony can't be all bad ...
