i don't think we support the i815.
i seem to recall someone saying here (on 9fans)
that they were going to write a driver,
but i don't know how far that got.

One can usually disable the on-chip graphics (and sound)
and plug third-party cards into the bus slots.

hi,
I'm trying to install plan9 on a PIII with built-in 815
graphics. After booting from the installtion floppy, aux/vga dumps the
some bios area to the screen and drops me to a shell. I assume that this
is
because 815 graphics is not supported. is there any work around for
this?
i checked the vgadb file in the boot floppy. it has no entries for 815.
i
tried adding a ctlr entry with my bios strings and an nvidia driver. but
it [ obviously ;-) ] said "bad arg in system call". how shall I proceed
?
thanks in advance,
kannan
