OK, but if I'm currently understanding this correctly, shouldn't it now be:
bind -bc /tmp/x /sys/lib
cd /sys/lib
>FOO
cd /tmp
unmount /sys/lib; ls x
x/FOO
?
How does this differ from yours? It *looks* like you end up with the
same scenario I originally presented.
