Hi Steve,
I'm exporting a share from a linux box, I can see all the files in a
directory on the server, but when I right click in acme to load I get
that error.
"read error in Buffer.load"
Any ideas?

Hmm and I'm getting permission denied too with "cat". I suppose it's
a fundamental problem I'm having here.
