you could take my limbo pop module, but i think limbo
only comes with the vita nuova distribution:
http://www.planete.net/~boyd/code/pop.bundle
i could be wrong.
or you could port a unix pop client to plan 9:
http://www.planete.net/~boyd/code/mace.bundle
which does:
pop [ -delete ] [ -n number ] [ -r [ seconds ] ] [ -s spooldir ] [ -t ] [
[user@]server ]
using the rough [2 day] port i did in '94 might help:
http://www.planete.net/~boyd/code/9mace.bundle
'cos you really need the library, for the various dynamic
data structures i invented. but you could probably get
away with just lineio.[ch] as the client isn't very demanding
on the library.
i've been meaning to write a popfs for inferno, but that'll have
to wait. maybe i'll do it in oz. i'd probably be better off playing
guitar, given i'll be on vacation, or writing a book 'parisien daze'.
