After "upgrading" a linux box from a Debian 2.4 to SUSE linux with
kernel 2.6.5, acme no longer runs. Seems to be a problem with libthread
on this configuration.

I'm keeping the ports source up to date from CVS.

% acme -W 1024x768
moribund 135274688
acme: sched.c:48: _schedinit: Assertion `t->moribund == 1' failed.
9pserve: convM2S failure

Any ideas?
	Adrian

Try setting

LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL

Sorry, it didn't make any difference.

% acme -W 1024x768
moribund 135274784
acme: sched.c:48: _schedinit: Assertion `t->moribund == 1' failed.

The same acme binary runs fine on a Debian 2.4.28 machine at home.
