Hi,

some time ago somebody mentioned a (rather expensive) IDE RAID
controller here on 9fans. This controller offered simple ATAPI
interface. Hence there was no need for a driver.
What was the name of the company? As far as I can remember it was a
company in the Uk.

 thanks: gergo

Somebody is using one of these, I think:

http://raidking.com/eide.htm

which just has a SCSI interface, so any supported SCSI card would work.

That would have been me.
I can't for the life of me remember the make; I nearly bought one
and then thought better of it.
