up until last night, i'd had absolutely no problems with fossil.

however i now can't start it:

	assert failed: (b->l.state&BsClosed)==0 && b->l.epoch < ehi

flchk dies too:

	assert failed: b->iostate == BioEmpty || b->iostate == BioLabel || b->iostate == BioClean

it's possible that i accidentally started two fossil instances on the
same disk image at one point; is that invariably fatal? should i just
kiss goodbye to 20 hours of data and wipe the fossil partition, or
might recovery be possible?

  cheers,
    rog.
