I've actually compiled the program, but I'm running into issues with
another step in setting up the program. Right now I need to change some
file permission is $PLAN9/log, but that directory seems to not exist...
Has this changed?

I'm sure this is obvious, but I just realized I forgot to mention that I
am using the plan9port version of acme.

I recall having to make the log directory myself as it was not present
in my plan9port install.
