put your face in the apropriate directory in /lib/face,
see face(6), update the .dict file and then submit a patch
for both of these files.

I sent the kix.1 file.
I spent three times to create the correct? patch, but is very very
interesting the patch command :-)

Here's my (somewhat psychedelic) face so it can be added to 
the standard face lib.

I finally just used the xbm2ikon script to
produce the attached face file, that sort-of
resembles how I looked when I made some of
our local faces (I'm sorry, same low resolution
as in the X-Face header line).
