If you download the latest iso.bz2 image, ISO Buster
will have no problems with it. The one you have had
some problems with the path table at the end of the disk,
which only some OSes (Windows NT and derivatives, some later
versions of Windows 98) care about.

I obtained the iso.bz2 image last week (a friend w/ dsl downloaded &
burned the compressed file to cd). bunzip2 for windows (an old
version, addmitedly) uncompressed the file to a ~200 MB .iso file, but
with complaints. Under linux, buzip2 produced the same sized file with
no complaints.
Not (yet) having a cd burner, I looked at the image with IsoBuster
(http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/). (I can't remember the
various incantations needed to mount the image under linux.) Anyway,
IsoBuster complained of inconsistencies in the image. Is this a
problem with the download, the image, or IsoBuster? I'd like to know
_before_ burning a cd and wiping out a working r3 installation.
Thanks,
Joel
