This is not a CM mail.☺
My all-in-one type (Printer/Scanner/Copy) type HP PSC-2110
connected to Sape's usb port is now working to print postscript
files using g++ ported by dhog (with a little band-aids), and hpijs-1.4.1
driver for ghostscript 8.11.
I chose HP, because it has maximum open source driver named as
hpijs cowork with gs greater than 7.05. The PSC 2110 has comparable
functionallity with Canon and Epson candidates though.
I'm now cleaning up the sources.
Yes, it's time for you, using Plan 9 at home, to buy that printer model.☺

Of course, all the other ink jet and laser printers connected to usb or
conventional printer port will work by this gs-8.11 and hpijs driver.
If you have expensive color postscript printer, you may not need it.
