I noticed a correction has been made regarding this problem at
/n/sources/plan9/sys/src/cmd/vnc/kbd_vwr.c:118,120
but unfortunately another correction is needed a few lines
above for the case when the control key is held down while
pressing a key.
/n/sources/plan9/sys/src/cmd/vnc/kbd_vwr.c:114 a /sys/src/cmd/vnc/kbd_vwr.c:115
> keyevent(v, r+0x60, 0); /* 0x60: make capital letter */
(I ran into the problem when pressing control-c in Windows
under VMware. The result was a single control-c followed by
the key c alone autorepeated.)
