My primary Plan9 system consists of the following:
ist: CPU and Auth, file server. 350MHz PII. (Slow but reliable)
ithaca: Terminal. 2.4GHz Pentium4
hog: CPU server. 2.4Ghz Pentium4

This system is behind a firewall, so I use sshnet to keep it updated.
Sshnet also allows me to access a second system:
plum: CPUable terminal and filesystem on VMWare

I also have a CPU/Auth/Fileserver at home. I share files between all
systems using SCP to my ISP. My laptop can PXE boot as a terminal to
all three systems, or I use Drawterm.

wouldn't using import(4) be more natural between your plan9 boxes?

I'll have to look into that. Never used import (that I know of).
