Moin,

some days ago I ask how to snarf/paste text between rio and
sam. The answer was button 2/<rio> to exchange the snarf buffers.

My problem now is, that this only works if I drawterm to my cpu
server (which runs under vmware). If I use a terminal (also vmware)
I cant snarf/paste. Looks like I missing somthing.

What maybe the problem?

Many thanks
Matthias

is it linux vmware or windows vmware?
are you running vmwarefs (ps|grep vmwarefs;
it should run on startup)?
in a terminal under vmware, the rio snarf
buffer is actually shared with the host
os via vmware. it could be that this is
not working properly.

Yes, it looks like this. I try it on the cpu server concole (also
vmware) and it works. Hmm, looks like that I must kill the X
Terminals and replace the hole stuff with Plan9 Terminals and vnc.
