yes, modulo the fact that instead of printing "l.nnn" tex
prints the more plumbable "filename:nnn" in its errors.

the binary /386/bin/tpic has been omitted.
cd /sys/src/cmd/tex/tpic
mk install
will create it. i do not plan to update the
tex package any time soon, sorry. i figure
no one has noticed so far...
