Subject: [9fans] running 'refer -l3, 2 -s', get rid of the disambiguating trailing letter
Date: Thu, 7 Apr 2011 17:46:21 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <BANLkTim4K4bbY0WgZ3TSA8zZV7FR6RZKcg@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

Hello 9fans,

I am using refer in the regime when references look like 'Hoh65a'
instead of numbers (like [1], [2], ...).
However, refer adds that trailing 'a' which I don't like (basically I
have no two references from the same author from the same year, but
still I have those 'a's everywhere...). I'd like that letter to appear
only when it's really needed.

Hasn't sb solved this somehow?
(I am now using the heirloom version of refer now.)

Thank you
Ruda
