Has anyone tried to install using the latest iso (plan9-new.iso) in
vmware4? I manage to install fine, using fossil instead of kfs, but
when i reboot, the bootloader fails to boot the system. It stalls after:
dev A0 port 1F0 config 427A capabilities 2F00 mwdma 0007 udma 0207
dev A0 port 170 config 85C4 capabilities 0F00 mwdma 0007 udma 0207

Anyone with similiar problems? If i boot from cd all is fine.

In the VMware 4 setup, I bet you have an ATAPI CD-ROM set up
configured to map to the real hardware CD-ROM drive. If so,
you need to check the "Legacy Emulation" box in the configuration.
This is one of the "features" of VMware 4 -- they broke the
CD-ROM support in most of the guest operating systems and then
gave us a checkbox to unbreak it.
