I just uninstalled and reinstall vmware and I guess I am running
a newer version now: 4.5.2 8848.
The first thing I noticed is that I cant boot plan9 if the cdrom
is attached. I remember seeing this come across the mailing list
before. Any idea why the latest vmware and plan9 dont get along
here?
Next thing I noticed is that my cursor no longer roams freely in
and out of the vmware window. Is the plan9 support for vmware's
mouse tied to a particular version? I can live with the nuisance
of having to click some keys to get out of the window, but losing
cut&paste will be a real blow.
(On a related note, has anyone played with the vmware 5 beta
with plan9?)
