Hi,
I read in "The various ports" that there is a port of Plan 9 to the MC68020 and
up. Does that mean that I can run Plan 9 on a Mac (Centris 660AV with MC68040)?

I always thought it would be cool to run 2nd edition on the Quadra
660/840av's '040 and onboard AT&T 3210 at the same time. More than
asymmetric multiprocessing-- dissimilar multiprocessing?

If you write all the drivers to support the Mac hardware, yes.
The processor isn't the only piece. For example, there's a
port to the PowerPC processor too, but you can't
currently run Plan 9 on a powermac either.
