Two questions:

1. What is the correct ownership (user/group) for /sys/log/cron file?
Currently it is set to bootes/sys.

2. /sys/log/cron is append only file, how do I truncate it to 0
bytes (it is almost 4MB in size) and is filled with message:

    upas: can't call mailserver: cs: can't translate service

is there a way to stop this message? Machine is not allowed to
run a mialserver.

hello,

there is a cron file for upas that is generating that message, you should edit it to match your configuration, or disable it.

/cron/upas/cron
