Hi,
It works!
Thanks for Russ and andrey for their kind help.
The problem was solved (cpu works, telnet works, and
I can network boot from my server) when I replaced the
server's factotum keys with ones I generated by hand,
IE the ones that factotum extracted from my nvram
seemed to be incorrect.
Why exactly these keys are bad I don't know, yet, I
shall investigate, probably my finger trouble (sigh).
