cd /sys/lib/pcdist/cmd/ext2
mk install
mk clean
/sys/lib/pcdist/bin/386/ext2srv
mount /srv/ext2 /n/a: /dev/sdC0/linux

(use ext2srv -r if you're paranoid
and don't want ext2srv writing to your
partition.)

Hi,
this is how I tried to get onto a n ext2 partition:

term% /sys/lib/pcdist/bin/386/ext2srv
/sys/lib/pcdist/bin/386/ext2srv 167: serving #s/ext2
term% mount /srv/ext2 /n/linux /dev/sdC0/linux
term% ls -l /n/linux
term%

/dev/sdC0/linux exists, but doesn't get mounted.
This is what linux' fdisk says about the disk:
hda1 Boot Primary Linux ext2 8447.37

What am I doing wrong?

--Peter.

Ooooooooops! the problem is not in the ext2srv, as I can r/w ext2 formatted diskette.

/dev/sdC0/linux ?

bookmark these pages; sooner or later they'll come in handy. you'll find
ext2fs in forsyth's page (the first one).
