If you pull, then compile and boot new kernels, you'll be nearly able
to use IPv6, even through gateways. You'll still need ipconfig6, IPv6
address space and IPv6 connectivity.

Once ipconfig6 is released,

	ip/ipconfig6 -A /net ether /net/ether?

should configure /net for IPv6 once you've added v6 addresses to ndb:

	ip=2001:470:1f00:238::3 sys=cpuv6 dom=cpuv6.collyer.net

I haven't worked out if all the piece parts for ip-in-ip tunnels are
present in Plan 9, so if you don't have native v6 connectivity (which
is likely in the US) the easiest way to get connected is to get 64
bits of address space from Hurricane Electric for free at
www.tunnelbroker.com, and configure a v6-over-v4 tunnel using (l)unix.
Hurricane Electric can suggest the right administrative commands for
various popular (l)unixes.

Once this is working, you'll be able to see the swimming turtle
(``dancing kame'') at www.kame.net as confirmation of v6 connectivity,
and we'll be able to exchange mail by v6, which should throw the
spammers off the scent for a while.
