searched google groups, and couldnt find anything *too* similar to
this, so decided on posting it.

basically, i get a kernel panic while booting from the disk image -
just after detecting drives, here's the dump....

if you need anymore than this, just say the word and ill spew more
hardware info

int14 seems to be IDE controller, so i stuffed round with some bios
options - to no avail.

the disk image is fine - it booted and installed fine on my old comp.

here it is:

m/b(from the manual): MSI K7T Turbo-R lmt ed. (MS-6330 v3.0a). based
on VIA KT133A. VT8363A + VT82C686B (uses ACPI)

320mb RAM - 256+64

pri master: 30gb 5400rpm western digital, PIO 4, udma, ata33
sec master: 1.2gb 3000(?)rpm segate, PIO 4, dma, ata33 (intended
installation on this)
sec slave: generic 40x cdrom

rtl8139 network (generic)
nvidia geforce 2mx

thats all i can think of right now - im not at home, as is the
computer
