Dear all,
last time I played around with 9front there was a "pkg" package manager to
install extras. I see some packages listed under 9front.org/extra but no
instruction on gettng/installing them.
Just hget and extract or is there a package manager of some kind?

pkg(1) was deprecated, though utility is still available under extra/ and the pkg files are still
available in their original location.
Those tarballs under extra/ are source files.

Thanks for the info! Then I will install from source from extra. My first
experiment that I would like to try is to build an up-to-date pdcurses against
sdl1 (as alternative to fgb's old pdcurses port).
Is there also a procedure to contribute source tarballs to extra?

If you post about it here I will add it. I usually try to save a copy of anything that looks useful.
