on systems with the following:
0.27.0: aud 04.03.00 8086/27d8 11 0:ee240004 16384
Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller
contrary to what audiostat indicates, try using pin 5 for internal
speaker audio. on at least two of my systems, this produces sound.
