some fixups on this mail:
-jmi2k has a rt3290, **NOT** rt3090. the diff adds support for the rt3290
card. the diff also incorporates 802.11g support.
-we are wondering if it also crashes on rt3090 and/or rt2790, to see if our
changes have a problem or there is something wrong with the driver itself.
