hi all;

we have some posts available that i thought might be of interest to readers of this list; apologies if this counts as spam.

1/ the school of computer science in nottingham is currently advertising 10 fully-funded phd studentships. we welcome applications from all areas of computer science but particularly those related to networked systems and the application of functional languages to practical problems. see <http://openmirage.org/> for related work. if you're interested, please get in touch before submitting your application. the deadline is jan10.  details at <http://bit.ly/IgDQFb>.

2/ my group in the school currently has research fellow posts available on research projects using mirage/ocaml to build network systems at scales ranging from the datacenter to the home, dealing with problems ranging from handling personal data to exercising custom in-network hardware. two of these posts are already advertised at <http://bit.ly/175OSpI> with a deadline of dec11. if you're interested in applying, again, please do get in touch.
