* Scope *
------------

The conference aims to illustrate the fruitfulness and wide-ranging 
impact of the theory of Grothendieck toposes, by featuring presentations on 
new theoretical advances in the subject (including the theory of higher toposes) 
as well as on applications of toposes in different fields such as number theory, 
algebraic geometry, logic, functional analysis, topology, mathematical physics 
and computer science. 

The conference is preceded by a two-day introductory mini-course for the 
benefit of students and mathematicians who are not already familiar with topos theory.

* Objectifs *
---------------

Cette conférence vise à illustrer le caractère fécond et l'étendue de l'impact 
de la théorie des topos de Grothendieck avec des exposés sur les nouvelles avancées 
théoriques du sujet (y compris la théorie des topos supérieurs) ainsi que sur les applications des topos
dans différentes domaines telles que la théorie des nombres, la géométrie algébrique, la logique, 
l'analyse fonctionnelle, la topologie, la physique mathématique et l'informatique. 

La conférence sera précédée d'un cours introductif de deux jours à destination des étudiants 
et des mathématiciens qui souhaitent se familiariser avec la théorie des topos.
