Gnus commemorative caps? (vs. T-shirts)

Instead of another T-shirt, how would everyone feel about caps with
an embroided Gnus logo on the front?

The caps I envision would be those canvas ones with the leather
adjustable strap on the back and with the velvety brim; red caps
with a white Gnu embroided...

Naturally, they'll probably cost more than a T-shirt.

How much d'you think they would cost?

"Gnus Couture."  Has a nice ring.  We should also make Gnus boots,
Gnus shorts and Gnus sweaters.  :-)

Hey!  Wait a minute.  Sweatshirts?  Let's see...  Ah, yes, here it is
in the t-shirt makers' catalogue.  Hum-di-dum.  How about a sweatshirt
with nothing on the front and a huge Gnus logo on the back?  With
(perhaps) "Gnus Development Team" (or something like that) in small
letters somewhere.  Limited to this mailing list only, of course.
That would cost 129 per shirt (print-run of ten), plus 450 set-up
costst, plus 23% VAT: (/ (* 1.23 (+ (* 129 10) 450)) 10) => 214!
Gack!  That's USD 33.  A bit too much, I'd think.  Well, I'd buy one.
:-)  If 9 other people would, then I could do it, but it's kinda
expensive.  Too expensive, I'd'va thunk.

I can't imagine them being too exhorbitant. When my sister graduated
with her degree in chemistry, the honours students got one of these
caps with the Uni's name and a radiation symbol on the front and each
students first-name embroided around the "arch" on the back-- very
personalized.

I'll see if I can track the company down from the label on the
inside; or that just might be the cap manufacturer rather than the
customizers.

How about "Gnus Bug-Fixing Zombie"? :-) Of course, there's only one of
those.  We need a cool name for those of us who merely feed bugs to
the zombie... "Gnus Entomology Team" maybe...

If Gnus Development is not mysterious, it is misleading enough to make
up for it.
