It breaks BBDB too. I reported it to emacs-devel hours ago.

The below change in Emacs CVS breaks message composition (which seems to
need mail-mode-map from sendmail.el) in Gnus. I fixed it temporarily by
loading sendmail in my .gnus. Should Gnus load it somewhere?
