When using lynx as render, Chinese (gb2312) characters can *not* be
display properly; When using w3, Chinese can be display but the html
itself can not be rendered properly (w3 just output the raw html file
include all thoese boring tags!)

Please be kindly help me. Thanks in advance.

If you see tags, then W3 has failed to render things. Try to send
yourself a message containing really simple HTML and see if that
works. I think that W3 is rather picky regarding the HTML syntax.

Maybe w3m works better -- there appear to be several CJK versions of
this one available, at least w3mmee.

At least, any html message send from MS OutlookExpress can not be
recognized.

You mean CJK version of w3m or emacs-w3m? Where to find it and how do
I determind whether my version is already a CJK?

w3m

Well, if it's called w3mmee, it's CJK... Otherwise, you can ask your
system about it. For instance, "apt-cache search w3m" prints things
like the following on my Debian system:

aview - A high quality ASCII art image viewer and video player
sgmltools-lite - convert DocBook SGML source into HTML using DSSSL
surfraw - a fast unix command line interface to WWW
w3m-el - a simple Emacs interface of w3m
w3mir - w3mir is an all purpose HTTP copying and mirroring tool.
w3m - WWW browsable pager with excellent tables/frames support
w3m-img - inline image extension support utilities for w3m
w3m-ssl - WWW browsable pager with SSL support
w3mmee - WWW browsable pager with excellent tables/frames, MB extension
w3mmee-img - inline image extension support utilities for w3mmee
w3mmee-ssl - WWW browsable pager with SSL support, MB extension

I think the "MB extension" part is clear enough.

my w3m's tarball name is w3m-0.1.10-tb2. Where should I run the
command "apt-cache ..."?

Could you point me to the web page of you said CJK w3m or w3mmee?
