Hey all,
The rewritten gnus-agent code now contains this line:
gnus-agent.el: (autoload 'number-at-point "thingatpt"))
thingatpt does not exist in XEmacs unless one loads the fsf-compat
package. I wonder if there isn't some way around this requirement?
TIA,
Vin

This is a temporary debugging measure only. The code that uses
number-at-point is scheduled to go away in the future.
But for the time being, it helps check for data corruption, which is
a good thing.
