Where can I find PGG's docs? ;-)

I've looked at Gnus' info files, but couldn't find any occurrence of
"pgg".

The info file should be built as gnus/texi/pgg. It is included in the
LaTeX version of the manual.

So it isn't getting installed with "make install"... I think that it
should.

Oops. I re-run the command here and got the same output. Sorry.

I think so.

Otherwise the docs doesn't show when one access info either through
Emacs or the console.

BTW, is there any way to have PGG to sign buffers as Mailgrypt and
gpg.el used to do?

Yup. Maybe we should use automake, I think it takes care of some of
these things..

Try M-x pgg-TAB

They only work on regions, maybe pgg-*-buffer functions could be
added.

I've done that.

This is what I was asking if it existed. So, if it could be
implemented, it would be VERY useful.

By using automake? It seems like a good idea.

I added some pgg-sign, pgg-verify commands etc. I removed -buffer so
you don't have to complete the M-x command twice (*-region functions
are also interactive and autoloaded). Do the commands work?

We're going to find out in this message.

(...)

No. It apparently marks the buffer, asks for my passphrase and then
try doing the signature but ends with an "Undo!" message, without
signing it.

How can I help you finding out what happened (if you need some help, I
mean)?

See you,

i don't understand this. since going with Oort and installing lots of
other software under development, my "info" output got totally out of
sync, and it took me quite a while to find out how to regenerate all
the "dir" files in the respective info/ directories.

is there some kind of penalty to take in case of running "install-info
<info-file> <dir-file> on every make? the problem is not only
confined to gnus. i even lost the reference to the entire emacs base
info during the various updates, but not by manually doing or not
doing something. i was just using regular make targets, and
especially installing was always concluded by "make install".

clemens
