Hello!
The past days I received 2 SMIME signed emails that take forever to
open. Gnus then asks if I'd like to ultimately trust the
certificate. Which I don't, because how would I know?
Reading the tips on the Emacs Wiki, I suspect this is because Gnus might
be checking the revocation list?
Uwe Brauwer, who wrote much of that page, for example recommends setting
disable-crl-checks in gpgsm.conf.
I tried that by creating a gpgsm.conf with only this disable-crl-checks
followed by gpg-connect-agent reloadagent
That seems not to be it.
What else should I try?
