In the night, my news server often acts up. I normally abort then
type `C-c C-d' to save the posting. The next morning, I `D e' that
posting from the drafts group, then type `C-c C-c' to post again.
Sometimes, the first posting has worked after all, so the news server
compains about a duplicate. No problem, I think, just type `C-c C-k'
to abort this message.
But `C-c C-k' doesn't really delete the message, after a M-g it still
shows up in the drafts group. Normally, this key works fine, but not
after a `D e'.

That's what I do, too. But IMHO `C-c C-k' should work after `D e',
too, shouldn't it? Is this a bug?

FWIW, if I was editing a draft and decided to abandon those changes,
wouldn't that may well to what `C-c C-k' was doing?
In other words, this sounds like a feature to me.[1]
