gnus-final-warning is defined in gnus-util.el, which is required very
early in gnus.el, so that seems odd..

OK. For a reason I do not understand, the gnus-util loaded is the one
From Emacs 24, not from nognus…

You're altering the load path before loading any parts of ... anything?
There might be other bits that load gnus-util, so you should alter the
load-path as early in .emacs as possible.

Me? Sure. But Debian /etc/emacs-snapshot/site-start.d is doing weird
stuff before running my conf file, like loading `doxymacs' which loads
some stuff which load gnus-util.

Took me a while to find out, but now, I'm smarter. :-)
