Hello,

After gnus-group-compact-group on an nnml group, all expirable marks got
lost. How could I avoid this please?

TIA for any help!

Today I did a gnus-group-compact-group on another nnml group, and there
was no such problem. So it seems to be difficult to reproduce...

I am wholly unfamiliar with that code. Does anybody want to take a peek
at it?

Ditto, which is why I've been quiet about this.

Now I can easily reproduce it. I've made a backup of my group and the
.newsrc.eld file, so after compacting I can revert it back.

So I can help debugging the problem, but I need some hints, where to
look and how to trace, because I still don't know a lot about elisp...
