If you don't like it, one can reproduce it with
C-n runs the command next-line instead of <down>.

So... `next-line' doesn't move point down in digest groups? That's

Yes, it moves point down, but to actually open the third message, one needs
C-d C-n C-n <return> C-n C-n <return>
As the first <return> opens the first message.

So -- point is on the third message in the digest, but `RET' shows you
the first message? I'm unable to reproduce this bug. Are you sure it's
not something you've altered locally?
