Hi!

Is spam.el aware of the modification done to '-S' and '-N' options on
bogofilter 0.11.1?

Citing the manpage:

The -S option tells bogofilter undoes a prior registration of
the same message as spam. If a message was incorrectly entered
in the spam word- file by '-n' or '-u' and you want to remove
it from the spam wordfile and enter it in the non-spam
       wordfile, use options '-Sn'.

The -N option tells bogofilter undoes a prior registration of
the same message as non-spam. If a message was incorrectly
entered in the non- spam wordfile by '-n' or '-u' and you want
to remove it from the non- spam wordfile and enter it in the
       spam wordfile, then use '-Ns'.

IIRC, this is the inverse of what used to be.

Also, the algorithm used per default has changed to Robinson-Fisher...

As of now, -S/-N are not used, since spam.el does not yet do
reclassification. Only -s/-n are used. Those haven't changed, right?

I added spam-bogofilter-spam-switch and spam-bogofilter-ham-switch as
custom variables ("-s"/"-n" by default), so you can set those if you
pre-process all your mail with bogofilter.

I don't think this matters to spam.el, but it's good to know...

Thanks
Ted

Right. OK. Good to know. I did a grep for '-S' and didn't find
anything, so I wrote to the list.

Good! I do classify my mail before filtering it so I'd be very
interested on using the reclassification options instead of the normal
ones.

You get a higher pontuation. And, you necessarily need to classify
some ham to avoid false positives.

Sweet! Thanks!
