Hi
I tried to send this message via gmane but it seem not to go through. I
apologize for any double posting.
I swore the following worked a while ago under emacs 25 and a
corresponding gnus version. However using Ubuntu 14.04, GNU emacs 26 and
the gnus version which is shipped with that GNU emacs version, I
encounter the following problem.
I sent an email which contains say $\int$
I use org-mime-htmlize which converts the message to html and convert
via dvipng the $\int$ to an embedded png.
Such a message can be read by a lot of email readers, thunderbird gmail
etc. However when I sent the message to myself or receive a similar
message gnus no longer displays the png.
I have played around with
(setq gnus-mime-display-multipart-related-as-mixed t)
(setq gnus-mime-display-multipart-as-mixed t)
Which helped in the past, but not now, I see
I can put the curso on latex20 and this seems to be a link to the png
latex23073s0_d9838405e4b5512e35d4662dad47bb38a6c6c9bc.png
But that png it self is *not* displayed.
What do I miss?
Thanks
BTW when I click on the latex230 the symbol is displayed, but this is
cumbersome if there are more symbols
