hiya
The following example is being rendered externally by my Gnus (Oort
v0.18). I don't like this and I'm looking for a way to turn it off.
But obviously I didn't accomplish it so far, or else I would post
here.

Setting mm-discouraged-alternatives didn't help. 'Normal' HTML-message
are not being rendered. I mean mails that look something like these:

Removing "text/html" from mm-automatic-display and adding it to
mm-discouraged-alternatives may have the effect you desire.
