Hello,
I have read both the faq and info file for gnus. Couldn't find the
answer to this question:
- How can I hide all threads by defaults, EXCEPT for those which have
new articles as a sub-thread?
Is this possible?
Thanks

By default, Gnus doesn't show read articles at all. If you set
gnus-fetch-old-headers to t, then read articles which are parents of
new articles are also shown.
I wonder why you're seeing read articles?

His server's active file and his .newsrc could be out of sync.
