Subject: Avoiding connection to nnimap server cyrus.andrew.cmu.edu
Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2002 16:01:22 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <a5lh3c$u4b$1@quimby2.netfonds.no> (raw)
I have the IMAP server cyrus.andrew.cmu.edu defined in the following
manner:
(setq gnus-secondary-select-methods
'((nnimap "cyrus.andrew.cmu.edu"
(nnimap-authenticator anonymous)
(nnimap-list-pattern "archive.*")
(nnimap-stream network))
))
All groups on this server are defined to be on level 3. Nevertheless
Gnus makes a connection to this server (which may be very slow), when
I do an `1 g' or a `2 g'.
Is there a way to avoid this connection?
Thanx!
- Steinar
